Right guys as you may be aware I am off to Uni , got an annual stock take at work and I will be nowhere near a pc all of Aug. I am not sure what I will be doing in September (may not have decent internet for gaming , doesn't bother me) so I am standing down from Server Team Leader. There's no point me staying on if I am going away as I hate to see inactive staff and don't want to become one myself but I will still pop on the servers , play some games and post on the forums here and there. Some of you can't wait to see me gone (Stasi) and some of you will miss me (Warren G) but its goodbye for now.....


Anyway with Trickster gone (who is trickster?) we shall need a replacement! I will let briggers post that just after me now.....

Technically he finished Upper Sixth a year ago, but took a Gap year of sorts.

I too did not know you were that age, i thought you were at uni already. You will love it at Uni, but like most students you will be out in the evening and you will have some time during the day (away from studies), but ultimately you will have less time to work on UK Gaming (like i did when i started uni) and your days are set/random i.e you may have something at 2 which makes commitment and lots of activity for places like this difficult.

I hope you will still remain like/as staff to install and update things as necessary (so stay as (general helper) staff), but at least we won't have your can we do this or we should have this is it possible comments any more, which were very helpful it a tad annoying.

The severs are something unique to this site, we we need to make sure they stay active and we have dedicated people/leader/admin person for it.

I am not sure (if you are moving into halls) if severs will work and if you will be able to use them (certainly not in university buildings at least where i am), but going to uni does not have to mean we should loose you as staff member as you are one of the best.

I should also say i am off back to uni (second year) end of September so my posts on the forum and especially the website will be less, which is why by then i hope to find and have a news editor to join my team to help me out.
