Does anyone know how to upload a windows media (old version) movie to youtube? as when i tried it said failed as due to incorrect file format (despite following help and changing the extension)

also does anyone know how to upload a gamepress video as i downloaded it from the site and uploaded it and it works i.e plays, but it seems to only last (uploaded ) five seconds and not the whole clip? anyone know why
